Lisa hails from Bucks County, Pennsylvania and now practices family law and criminal defense throughout Eastern Virginia. She is known for her aggressive, thorough, and creative advocacy in litigation. As a former Senior Deputy District Attorney and Chief of the Domestic Abuse Division of the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, Lisa is familiar with all aspects of the criminal justice and juvenile justice systems. In addition to prosecuting various felony jury trials to verdict, she also prosecuted hundreds of DUI cases. When she moved to private practice, Lisa added family law and adoption litigation to her growing areas of concentration, as well as representing parents and children involved with the Department of Social Services.
A tireless advocate for children, animals, and victims of abuse, Lisa has volunteered for various organizations, such as Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania, the Bucks County Youth Aid Panel, the Bucks County Domestic Abuse Fatality Review Commission, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association Animal Law Committee. She is a past Chair of the Bucks County Bar Association Pro Bono Committee, and a recipient of the Arthur B. Walsh, Jr. Award, given to an attorney or judge “who, by his or her action and example, has made equal justice under the law a meaningful goal and ideal.”
An active equestrian athlete, she volunteers her time to the Virginia Horse Show Association and the Virginia Beach Horse Show Association, as well as other animal advocacy organizations.
