Divorce
Every divorce case is unique. Couples have various mixes of assets and liabilities along with differing ideas about how to divide them between the spouses. Most couples are unable to come to an immediate agreement and each needs the help of a family law attorney. Likewise, individuals alone often cannot solve conflicts regarding child custody, support, and visitation.
We meet with each of our clients personally to explain the process of divorce in the state of Virginia and to discuss how we can best help our clients to achieve a fair and equitable divorce. We are experienced veterans in handling such cases and we negotiate with our client’s spouse or the spouse’s attorney to resolve all issues between the parties. While our team most often achieves a divorce settlement, there are occasions where negotiation for mutual benefits cannot achieve full resolution, and we take those cases to trial to obtain a favorable judgment for our clients.
